PRIVATE LESSONS

  Director of Golf, Jerry Poley
Jerry has traveled a very unique path to arrive at Catta Verdera Country Club. He has been here since the original Twelve Bridges Golf Club opened in 1996. He graduated from Chico State with a BA in education, with a minor in both English and Exercise physiology. He received his California State Teaching Credential in 1993. Prior to finishing college, Jerry spent 3.5 years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was a true “Grunt”. As for golf, Jerry started playing in 1991 and in 2001 became a Class “A” PGA Professional. Jerry’s philosophy on teaching is very simple. First and foremost enjoy your time when you are at the course either playing or practicing. Secondly, he tries to get everyone to truly understand what it is to be connected and how coil creates power. Jerry has participated in the last 5 Player & Teacher Development forums put on through the Northern California PGA Section, which included some of the best instructors in the country.
